Care Guide
Cotton is patient about most things — a cool wash, a line dry, and it only softens.
Washing
- Machine wash cold (30°C), inside out, on a gentle cycle.
- Use a mild detergent. No bleach, no fabric softener.
- Wash darks and lights separately for the first few washes.
Drying
- Line dry in the shade to keep the colour — cotton loves a soft breeze.
- Tumble dry low only if you must; line drying lasts longer.
Ironing
- A warm iron while slightly damp gives the smartest finish. Most pieces don't need it.
Stains
Treat fresh — cold water, a dab of soap, a soft brush. Mud will go. Berry can be stubborn; sun-bleach the spot before washing if you have a sunny windowsill.
Mending
If a seam goes in the first year, write to us — we'll talk you through a fix, or mend it for the cost of return postage. A loose thread or two is the mark of a handmade thing, not a fault.
