The tale
Named for the hollyhock — the tall flower that climbs the cottage wall, deep pink and papery, taller than the children by July.
What it's made of
100% cotton, washed soft so the second wear feels like the fortieth. Light enough for the hottest days, and it only softens with every wash.

Machine wash cold (30°C), inside out, with like colours. Line dry in the shade. A little softening and the odd loose thread are the marks of a handmade thing — not a fault.
