The tale
Named for the peony — the blowsy, full-skirted bloom that opens by the garden gate in early summer, heavy with scent and visited by ants. We gathered its colours and scattered them small across the cotton.
What it's made of
100% cotton, softened in the wash so the second wear feels like the fortieth. Light and breathable for warm days — and it only softens further with every wash.

Fit & sizing
Cut generously and true to size — size up only for taller builds. Sized by height from 90 to 140cm (roughly two to ten years). Flutter sleeves, a ruffled neckline, and a low back tied with two soft straps. The skirt falls to the knee on most ages.
Care
Machine wash cold (30°C), inside out, with like colours. Wash darks and lights separately, and don't soak. Line dry in the shade. A little softening and the odd loose thread are the marks of a handmade thing — not a fault.
